Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Day Shift 6A-2P St. Luke's Hospital Transitional Care Center - Cedar Rapids, IA Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital Transitional Care Center in Cedar Rapids, IA. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to our patients during the day shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Responsibilities: Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients, ensuring dietary needs are met Provide emotional support and companionship to patients Assist with transferring and repositioning patients to prevent pressure ulcers Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients Document patient care activities accurately and timely Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings Qualifications: Active CNA certification in the state of Iowa Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Basic computer skills for documentation purposes About St. Luke's Hospital Transitional Care Center: St. Luke's Hospital Transitional Care Center provides skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services to patients in Cedar Rapids, IA.
