Payroll Administrator Linde Inc. Danbury, CT, United States | req27530 What you will enjoy doing Process payroll for regular pay, commissions, special awards and miscellaneous income Upload various pay and benefits detail into payroll system Review payroll audit reports to identify and resolve potential issues prior to finalizing the payroll Research and find solutions to employee questions, complex problems and technical issues Create and submit multiple vendor interfaces (i.e. Fidelity, NYLife, ADP Garnishment and Tax Services) and interact with third party vendors. Follow up on outstanding Payroll checks; replacing, voiding or escheating as needed. Audit new hires, terminations, salary increases etc. in the payroll system on a timely manner. Calculate retro pay and overpayments; outlining overpayment schedules Assist HR/Benefit Operations team with other tasks as needed Handle multiple processes and develop, administer and document payroll procedures, including maintaining and updating payroll process documents Process manual checks for state mandated payments, terminations, etc. Participate in testing payroll system upgrades Assist in auditing of intermittent and annual stock/RSU transactions Support benefit related STD payments and reconciliation Provide back-up support to other Payroll Administrators, as required What makes you great Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, Accounting or Finance is preferred Minimum of 2 years Payroll and/or Human Resource experience required Strong customer service skills are required Advanced proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel required Knowledge of UltiPro and WFM is a plus Knowledge of Stock payroll a plus Knowledge of state, local withholdings Must be able to demonstrate judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information Superior mathematical ability, accuracy, and attention to detail as well as a demonstrated ability to work well in a close team environment Key to this role is the ability to work collaboratively with Payroll/Benefits Operations, Field HR Managers and Admins Ability to identify opportunities for and recommendations to improve and support the various HR Operations processes Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational and interpersonal skills Excellent analytical and independent thinking skills Ability to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization to understand requestor's needs Must be able to prioritize, problem solve, take initiative, maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel information.
