In this critical role, you will be responsible for pulling orders, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining equipment to ensure a highly functional workflow. You will work with various motorized equipment, including forklifts, to maneuver products throughout our facility, all while adhering to strict safety protocols. Your daily efforts will keep our operations running smoothly, helping us to exceed customer expectations. Required skills include proficiency in order-pulling and loading/unloading processes, the ability to accurately count, weigh, and record materials, experience operating forklifts and other motorized equipment, strong attention to safety and adherence to standard operating procedures, basic mechanical skills for daily equipment inspections and maintenance, and effective communication and teamwork skills. Nice to have skills include familiarity with inventory management systems, previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations. Preferred education and experience include a high school diploma or equivalent and previous material handling or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required. Other requirements include the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods, willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
