Job Description Join Our Team as aMS/Tele Registered Nurse Are you a dedicated nursing professional seeking an impactful opportunity within a secure, correctional healthcare environment? We are currently hiring two highly skilled MS/Tele Registered Nurses to provide vital inpatient care in a correctional setting specialized in oncology and medical-surgical nursing. This role offers a challenging and rewarding experience where your expertise will make a real difference in patient outcomes and safety. In this role, you will float to various Oncology Medical-Surgical units, ensuring the delivery of quality care within a secure correctional environment. Your responsibilities will include managing complex patient diagnoses, including active oncology treatments, chronic illnesses, and acute conditions, while adhering to strict safety protocols. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team utilizing EPIC charting and Pyxis medication systems, supporting patients with diverse medical needs, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Required Skills: Valid RN license with current licensure and certification EPIC electronic health record experience BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Ability to manage multiple patient care needs calmly and efficiently Experience or familiarity with oncology or medical-surgical nursing preferred Effective communication skills and teamwork orientation Nice to Have Skills: Oncology-specific experience EPIC or other electronic medical records proficiency Telemetry monitoring experience Experience in correctional healthcare settings Knowledge of cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management Ventilation support including BIPAP/CPAP experience Preferred Education and Experience: Licensed Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year hospital or correctional healthcare experience Oncology background highly desirable but not mandatory Previous experience working in medical-surgical, telemetry, or intensive care units considered a plus Other Requirements: Willingness to work night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 on a 12-hour rotating schedule Ability to work in a secure corrections environment with strict access controls Must possess valid BLS certification Ability to float across units and adapt to changing staffing needs Willingness to travel within the correctional facility as needed This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $59.18 plus comprehensive benefits, including weekly pay via direct deposit, paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and additional benefits such as a robust referral program and 24/7 support from our dedicated team.
