Material Handler/Forklift Operator Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator Monday-Friday; $20 per hour Job Description Join a company that has been a global leader in highway safety products for over 50 years. As a Material Handler, you will contribute to the production and shipment of innovative safety solutions, including guardrails, end terminals, steel barriers, and more. Your role is crucial in preparing these products for distribution to meet the evolving needs of the market. Responsibilities Operate equipment and tools to aid in manufacturing highway safety products. Perform a variety of physically strenuous tasks to maintain efficient production. Maintain a clean work environment. Lift and carry materials of different weights throughout the shift. Check tools and equipment to ensure adherence to safety regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience operating forklifts, including 6000lbs sit down and 18,000lbs industrial forklifts. Proficiency with RF scanners and material handling. Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience. Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Reliable and predictable attendance is crucial. Ability to function as a team member and establish effective working relationships. Work Environment The work environment is a dirty industrial warehouse where conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy. It is a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment, and work may be required in various areas of the plant. Safety is a top priority, and adherence to safety procedures and guidelines is mandatory, including wearing hearing and eye protection, protective clothing, and steel-toed shoes. Dependable job attendance and punctuality are essential for the success of the plant. Job Type & Location This is a contract position based out of Centerville, UT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
