NP/PA Orthopedic opportunity in Bowling Green, KY - 1 hour from Nashville TN - Service area of over 100,000 people The City of Bowling Green is nationally recognized by the US Chamber of Commerce for its economic development performance for seventh consecutive year Position Details:Full time, permanent openingSeeking a full-time Physician Assistant or APRN to join our established orthopedic team in Bowling Green, KYThis role is tailored for a highly motivated provider interested in general Orthopaedic care, with an emphasis on musculoskeletal conditions, sports medicine and spine. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant works in collaboration with the Physician as well as nursing and support services to provide patient-focused care. Responsible for providing direct patient care within the practice & directive of collaborating physician; assessment and management of patients; day to day implementation and evaluation of the appropriate plan of care; serving as a consultant, researcher, and educator.Independent outpatient clinic caseloadOpportunity to assist with procedures and surgeries (if desired)No weekends, no overnight callWork with experienced spine-focused orthopedic surgeons in a collaborative model.Performs history & physicals, documentation of findings; communication with collaborating Provider.Orders appropriate diagnostic testing; reviews results/ informs patients & Providers of findings and required follow up.Patient education and support.Ensures continuity of care for follow-up treatments.Qualified Candidates:Active Kentucky Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licenseExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with high focus on quality patient care in teamwork-oriented environment.Previous work experience as a Nurse Practitioner.Experience with orthopaedics or musculoskeletal care preferred all candidates will be considered.
