Job Tittle : Registered Nurse (RN) - Correctional Setting Location: Los Angeles, CA 90012 Duration: 16-week assignment Shift: Day Shift , evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts) Schedule: No weekends or holidays Position Summary: Seeking highly skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) with experience in a correctional or forensic healthcare setting. The RN will provide direct patient care in a secure environment and must be comfortable working with incarcerated populations and collaborating with security personnel. Role & Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare and security teams. Ensure compliance with clinical policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License. Minimum one (1) year of correctional nursing or inpatient experience. Experience working in a secure or forensic environment preferred. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS). Crisis Prevention or Management certification. Preferred Skills: Must be comfortable working in a locked and secure setting. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. All required certifications must be completed prior to assignment start date.
