Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Location: Lincoln, NE Contract Type: Travel Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3×12 Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) Pay: $2,224.80/week Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Description ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Lincoln, Nebraska. This role supports a high-volume acute care Med Surg unit serving medical, surgical, and orthopedic patient populations in a fast-paced hospital environment. The RN will provide comprehensive bedside nursing care, manage diverse patient conditions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care in an acute care setting. Key Responsibilities Provide direct medical-surgical nursing care. Administer medications and treatments per provider orders. Manage heparin drips (only titratable drip used on unit). Monitor telemetry and patient status. Collaborate with respiratory therapy (RT available 24/7). Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Float to PCU or Burn units as needed. Support patient safety and quality care standards. Qualifications Active Nebraska RN license (required at submission). Required Certification: BLS Recent Med Surg experience required. Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills. Ability to manage high patient volumes. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
