Hospital: Parkridge East Location: Address: Unit Name: 2 west Building: Cost Center: 610 General Information Unit Specifics: • Number of Beds : 30 • Patient Ratios : 1:6 • Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 2-3 tech per shift, clinical coordinator (days vary), charge nurse , manager, director • Type of equipment: wound vac, heparin gtt, suction, iv pumps, glucometers, bladder scanner, feeding pump, telemetry • Documentation system: editech • Scheduling requirements: we do not guarantee block scheduling. Every other weekend and holiday rotation • Floating policy: will float between 2 North and 2 west • Patient Experience requirements: positive attitude. Meet needs of pt and families, do service recovery as necessary, escalate any problem through chain of command Hospital Specifics- • Certifications: BLS required Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have : IV starts, NGT placement, wound care, cardiac rhythms Advanced skills needed: cardiac rhtym interpretation Procedures performed on unit: lab draws/ iv starts, Certifications Required: Dress Code : (Required uniform) • Navy scrubs.
