Overview Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Grapevine, TX Occupational Therapist (OT) - Day Neuro Monday- Friday Full Time Salary range: $75,920.00 - $103,105.60 Compensation depends upon candidate's years of experience and internal equity. Our team is looking for a full time occupational therapist to work on a multidisciplinary team that focuses on an integrated approach for intensive physical rehabilitation within Day Neuro Program. Program focuses on return to highest level of independence possible as well as community reintegration for patients with acquired brain injuries. OT skill specific areas in this setting typically include:neuro re-ed, basic and higher level ADLs, return to driving, return to work, functional cognition, and neurological vision. Patients are treated as part of a multidisciplinary team, six hours a day, Monday through Friday. Candidates with brain injury experience is preferred. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery. Qualifications Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Occupational Therapist required. Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
