Job Responsibilities Provide age-appropriate nursing care to pediatric patients in inpatient or outpatient settings. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform routine assessments. Support physicians during examinations, procedures, and diagnostic tests. Educate patients and families about illness management, medications, and home care plans. Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility protocols. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and implement emergency care as needed. Promote a child-friendly, safe, and emotionally supportive healthcare environment. Qualifications Current and unrestricted RN license in the applicable state. Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in pediatric nursing preferred. BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on compassionate, family-centered care. Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure or emotionally charged situations.
