A healthcare organization in Rutland is seeking a Board-Eligible, Board-Certifiable, or Board-Certified Otolaryngologist to join a collaborative medical team providing comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care. This opportunity offers a balanced practice with both outpatient and surgical responsibilities in a supportive healthcare environment. Position Overview The Otolaryngologist will diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. The physician will work closely with primary care providers and other specialists to provide patient-centered care and, when necessary, surgical treatment. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures Perform surgical procedures related to ENT conditions Conduct patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies Develop treatment plans and provide follow-up care Educate patients on treatment options and preventive care Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Community Overview Located in the scenic Green Mountains, Rutland offers a welcoming community with excellent outdoor recreation and a high quality of life. Requirements General Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology Completion of an accredited residency program in otolaryngology Eligible for or able to obtain a Vermont medical license Strong clinical and surgical skills Excellent communication and patient care abilities Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in general ENT practice Interest in a broad range of otolaryngology procedures Commitment to high-quality patient care and community health
