The Utility Worker is responsible for many daily activities. These activities include both daily production support tasks and receiving and distribution of raw materials throughout the production floor. Main daily task is responsible for trash, recycle and scrap. Must be flexible on daily work changes and be self-motivated. Responsibilities Assists receiving in unloading trucks, receive material into stock. Assists receiving in returns of excess material to stock. Assist in delivery of MRO items to proper departments. Assist in regular cycle and inventory counts. Prepares spool and vendor returns. Scrap - daily pickups, month end, gaylord changes, cone scrap & bleed off. Trash/recycle. Sweep floors. Stripping wire - by hand/with stripper Repairing spools Wrap TFE drums & weigh. Supply list of scrap bleed as needed. Put away accounting records as needed. Fill cardboard wrap area as needed/put away cardboard wrap as it arrives - give list as needed to order. Misc. painting year-round - walls, yellow poles etc. Assist shipping wrapping pallets. Pick up parts and supplies with truck as needed (Rice, hardware, Bond Auto) Keep the back dock clean and organized. Spring cleanup outside around dumpster and tree line Bi-monthly weed whacking all storm water areas & dry pond. Assist shoveling walkways when needed. Adhere to safe work practice. Adherence to AS9100 requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED Job Requirements Must be able to report on work performed utilizing a computer. Must have good basic math skills. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be flexible to changing business needs. Forklift certified. Must be able to comply with all company policies.
