Construction Estimator - Commercial Boynton Beach, FL Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to lead preconstruction pricing efforts across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is a high-impact role responsible for developing accurate, competitive estimates that directly influence project awards, profitability, and long-term client relationships. We are looking for a detail-driven professional with strong market awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to turn plans into strategic, winning bids. Key Responsibilities nalyze drawings, specifications, and addenda to prepare comprehensive estimates Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, and subcontracted scopes Solicit, level, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing Develop competitive bid packages and formal proposals Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients during preconstruction Maintain and update cost databases and market pricing trends Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities Support post-bid negotiations and scope clarification Provide budgeting support for internal forecasting and pipeline planning Ensure all estimates align with company financial and strategic objectives Qualifications 3+ years of construction estimating experience with a commercial general contractor preferred Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and material costs Proficiency in estimating software (Bluebeam, Planswift, Autodesk Build, ProEst, Sage Estimating, or similar) bility to read and interpret blueprints and architectural documents Skilled in quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid strategy development Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred Valid driver's license required What Sets This Role Apart Direct impact on project wins and company profitability Exposure to diverse national commercial projects Collaborative leadership team that values estimator insight Opportunity to grow within a stable, expanding contractor
