Behavioral Health Technician - Evening and Weekend Freedom Detox | Gastonia, NC $17.00/hour + $1.50 shift differential Full-Time | Benefits Eligible Must have open availability to work Wednesday - Friday 3pm to 11p and Saturday - Sun 10am to 8pmMake a Difference Freedom Detox, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is seeking a Full-Time Evening and Overnight Behavioral Health Technician to join our dedicated team in Gastonia, NC. This direct care role is essential in supporting clients through detox and recovery in a safe, structured, and compassionate environment. What You'll Do Complete intake process for new clients entering the program Maintain accurate and timely client documentation Observe and document client self-administration of medications as applicable Provide client transportation and supervise during transport Support treatment goals by following individualized care plans Monitor client activities and provide crisis intervention when needed Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment Assist with dietary needs and coordination of daily activities Uphold therapeutic boundaries and staff code of ethics Complete required trainings and certifications What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent required Prior behavioral health or healthcare experience preferred Valid driver's license with a safe driving record Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain) Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in crisis situations Knowledge of federal/state standards and compliance guidelines a plus Why Join Us?
