Description Galvan Industries, Harrisburg, NC is seeking for a highly driven individual to fill the position of Robot Operator (Fanuc). This position requires a sharp mind, a sincere dedication and hard-working individual. Description: This position is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, debugging and preparation of industrial robot to customer specifications. Robot Operator maintain service and repair robot as needed. The Robot Operator must be knowledgeable with Fanuc system, understand robot interface with multiple devices and can set up from scratch. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of FANUC CNC, Laser and Robo machine equipment. • Perform basic robot operating and troubleshooting. • Complete robot backups and all maintenance on the robot and controller • Inspect material to ensure quality standards have been met • Assist in hanging all finished product on proper racking systems • Move all racks from production area to staging area using overhead crane • Willing to work overtime when required to meet special deadlines in response to customer requirements. • Works with Maintenance to assure effective PM on equipment. • Works to eliminate downtime. Identifies and eliminates sources of downtime, through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures with Production Foreman and Production Manager Requirements Required Qualifications • Basic knowledge of robot system - Fanuc • Good understanding of mechanical systems • Ability to read schematics and other drawings • Self-motivated and hands on approach • Ability to react quickly to changing requirements and new processing developments. • Follow written / verbal instructions and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications • High School Diploma or Equivalent and vocational training. • Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 year (Preferred) • AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred) • Experience reading a troubleshooting electric and pneumatic schematics. • Experience conducting robot simulation. • Ability to lift to 75 pounds (34 kg).
