About the Role (Packaging Technician II): This position of Packaging Tech II offers an opportunity to learn and grow with Greenleaf and take on increasing levels of responsibility. The Packaging Lead will supervise and work with a team to perform all activities required to produce and manufacture the various sizes and types of Packaged Cannabis Flower. How youll make a difference (required duties and responsibilities): Stage all materials for daily production. Verify all rooms are cleaned and cleaning log filled out daily. Make sure machines are set up daily to ensure employees are ready to go at the start of the shift. Train all employees on proper SOPs, machine use, and document as such. Fill out, stay up to date on training logs. Answer any questions about production and confirm with Packaging Manager any quality concerns. Ensure daily compliance with company policies, SOPs, and KPAs. Time Studies, turned into Packaging Manager Ensure all counts are correct before turning the product into Packaging Manager or Inventory. Responsible for making sure all production logs and time studies are turned into proper sheets daily. Must be able to work effectively as a team leader for the entire dept. Notify Packaging Manager of any inventory discrepancies, and low inventory. Inspect all products before passing them off to the team to make sure there are no concerns with the product. I.E. Gummies are full size, capsules are filled correctly, flower is being packed in correct size, etc. Create labels for products, using label checklist obtained from Packaging Manager, or inventory. Check label checklist through COA. Point of contact for issues when manager is unavailable. Tag product in through Dutchie. Print labels, ensuring correct information is on label, after approval by 2 other persons, manager, and inventory. Sign Inventory sheets and label checklists. Fill out proper inventory logs with each product count and compliant information on sheet. Ensure the team stays on pace and schedule. Keep track of all waste, cannabis, and non-cannabis. Always adhere to state and company policies, following employee handbook, and all SOPs. Monitor break schedules, reporting any issues to Packaging Manager. Understands and consistently ensures team compliance regarding proper and safe handling of hazardous materials. Ensure all SOPs are followed and inform Packaging Manager of any needed changes to SOP. Work closely with team and Quality Tech to deliver top quality products. Packaging Lead reports directly to Packaging Manager. The scope of job may change as necessitated by business demands. Any other jobs deemed necessary by Packaging Manager. Skills to be Successful (minimum qualifications): Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of experience packaging or related field preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices?
