DescriptionSummary/Objective The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Department by maintaining accurate records, managing inventory and warranty processes, and assisting with coordination of maintenance activities. Responsibilities Communicate clearly and concisely with the department manager, employees, and vendors. Maintain accurate records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Provide data reports from the maintenance system as requested. Order, receive, issue, and ship parts and materials from maintenance inventory. Assist the Maintenance Dispatcher/Warehouse Manager with warehouse inventory management. Conduct maintenance inventory cycle counts. Monitor stock levels to ensure high-use parts and materials are available. Manage warranty data by setting up and maintaining warranty information for parts and assets in the CMMS. File and track warranty claims. Package and prepare warranty parts for return shipping. Communicate parts ordering needs to the Procurement Department by preparing purchase orders. Serve as a backup to the dispatcher by assisting with coordination of daily activities for company technicians and vendors. Manage asset data in the CMMS, including make, model, serial number, and location. Support seasonal contract management. Maintain compliance and regulatory tracking and recordkeeping. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required as job duties demand. Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma or GED preferred. Two years of related experience and/or training in customer service, dispatching, project management, or logistics. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is a plus.
