Job Title: Radiology Tech Location: Washington, DC 20037 Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 3x12-Hour Night Shift Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Hours per Week: 36 Hours Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements On-Call: Required Job Description: The Radiology Tech performs radiographic procedures using both fixed and mobile radiographic equipment within the hospital environment, including the Emergency Room and main diagnostic areas. The technologist works under the supervision of the radiologist or department manager and collaborates with other radiology staff to provide quality patient care and accurate imaging. Requirements: Associate's Degree or completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification Current State/District license required Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Minimum 2+ years of radiology experience Current RT Registration Knowledge of Radiation Quality Standards Additional Requirement: Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the facility.
