Electronic & Mechanical Assembler Build the Technology That Powers What's Next If you're the kind of assembler who thrives on precision, complexity, and hands-on craftsmanship, this role puts your expertise front and center. As a Electronic & Mechanical Assembler, you'll work on advanced, high-reliability systems-from power supplies and printed circuit boards to full electromechanical assemblies. Your work directly impacts the performance and quality of the products our customers depend on. This is a role for someone who loves solving problems, mastering intricate builds, and taking ownership of their craft. What You'll Do You'll take on a wide range of skilled assembly and subassembly operations, including: Build Complex Electronic & Mechanical Systems Assemble power supplies, PCBs, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, and full electromechanical systems. Perform wiring, component installation, and high-quality hand soldering. Determine the best methods and sequence of assembly operations-your expertise guides the build. Repair, Rework & Troubleshoot Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, and reassemble units as needed. Diagnose malfunctions and perform corrective actions with confidence. Execute tasks such as drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping with precision. Use specialized hand tools like a pro. Your Specialized Skillset You may lean toward electronic or mechanical expertise-or bring strength in both. Either way, your advanced skills will shine. Electronic Assembly Expertise You'll bring several of the following: Fine-pitch touch-up and rework under a microscope PCB etch repair SMT and through-hole rework Reading and executing complex ECOs, etch cuts, and via drills Removing and replacing high-pin-count ICs using specialized equipment Adjusting and fitting components to critical tolerances Implementing complex revisions using red-lines and deviations ⚙ Mechanical Assembly Expertise You'll bring several of the following: Precision assembly and gluing (e.g., x-ray collimators) Balancing complex rotating machinery Installing fragile, high-value components in tight spaces Managing assemblies involving extreme weight or complexity Evaluating and repairing returned units for upgrade or refurbishment Leadership & Impact Train and mentor lower-level assemblers-your expertise helps grow the team. Recommend process or product improvements based on hands-on experience. Work with minimal supervision while delivering exceptional quality.
