This ground-up opportunity will allow you to shape and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and architecture for our growing organization. You will utilize your expertise in creating configurations, settings, and automation with third-party tools, Azure, and AWS to ensure the security and integrity of our systems. Responsibilities: Policy Development: Design and establish comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures tailored to the organization's needs. Configuration Management: Develop and maintain secure configurations and settings for IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications. Automation Integration: Implement and manage automation processes using a variety of third-party security tools to enhance efficiency and incident response. Cloud Security: Leverage your experience with Azure and AWS to build and maintain a secure cloud environment, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements. Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies. Incident Response: Develop and execute incident response plans, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery. Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations; prepare for and assist in internal and external audits. Documentation: Create detailed documentation of all cybersecurity policies, procedures, configurations, and incident response activities. Training and Awareness: Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity best practices and policies. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on policy development, configurations, and cloud security. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing and securing Azure and AWS environments. Strong understanding of third-party security tools and automation technologies. Experience with configuration management and security best practices. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
