Unit Notes ITEMS OF NOTE: - Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Your candidate understands is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels Department: IR | Tech Special Procedures Tech - (Separate from EP and cath lab) - # suites/labs: 6 labs pre-op and phase 2 recovery. - #cases per day on average: 20-30. - Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT. - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Vascular, neuro, drains, lines. - Job Duties: Scrub, pass supplies, set up and take down of procedure room. - EMR/Equipment: EPIC; We use Phillips monitors. - Is there a Manager/Charge Nurse on each shift?: Charge RN 0730-1700 they do not take patients, will do cases and cover lunches. - IR Techs: 1 PCT - Shifts & Scheduling: 9 hours shifts 4 days per week. - Weeknight/Call Requirements: Yes (7-9 shifts in 6 weeks). - Weekend/Call Requirements: Yes - Holiday/Call Requirements: Yes - What is call response time?: 30 minutes - Floating Requirements: No, Either cath lab or IR. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided - Unit/Department specific orientation: 3-5 days in the lab VivPost
