Our client is currently seeking a qualified Deskside Technician to join their team onsite in Chicago, IL and provide end-user support. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide end-user technical support Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues Support Windows / macOS systems, printers, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals Provide in-person and remote assistance Perform device setup and deployment Configure and deploy laptops and desktops, mobile devices, new employee workstations Perform imaging and provisioning of systems Perform incident and ticket management Work within ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, and/or Zendesk Diagnose and resolve Level 2 technical issues escalated from Level 1 support Provide onsite support for conference rooms, AV equipment, Video conferencing, Office networking equipment Support multiple buildings within a campus environment Perform Active Directory account management, password resets, software installation and updates Perform basic network troubleshooting Maintain knowledge base articles Document solutions and procedures Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 2 to 5+ years of IT support experience Knowledge of desktop hardware and operating systems Knowledge of Windows 10/11 & macOS Active Directory / Azure AD Microsoft 365 VPN and network troubleshooting Imaging tools (SCCM, Intune, Jamf) ServiceNow ticketing system Experience with enterprise IT environments Strong customer service and communication skills CompTIA A+ preferred CompTIA Network+ preferred Microsoft certifications preferred Wage Range: The rate for this position is between $19.13 - $25.50 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
