The mission of this full-time position is to provide project management and support related to Application Development projects. The Agile Project Manager assists with effective operations and administration. Responsibilities include assisting with tracking and communicating project status, creating reports, and managing relationships with our departments within Renaissance Financial. Primary Responsibilities • Help plan, coordinate, and manage project activities using Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban. • Assist with defining project scope, timelines, and delivery plans with a focus on iterative, high-quality value delivery. • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, assist with sprint planning, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Collaborate with QA to define acceptance criteria Definition of Done, and the Quality standards for each sprint. • Ensure QA is involved early in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and story estimation. • Coordinate test planning, test execution timelines, and readiness for release. • Facilitate communication between developers and QA to resolve defects, clarity requirements and remove blockers. Team Coaching and Support • Foster a high-performing, self-organizing team environment. • Identify and remove impediments or guide the team in doing so. • Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles to improve maturity and effectiveness. Monitoring & Reporting • Track project progress using relevant Agile metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity). • Ensure transparency and timely communication across all levels of organization. • Prepare and distribute project progress reports, risk assessments, and issue logs. Stakeholder and Product Collaboration • Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy product backlog and align deliverable with business priorities. • Manage stakeholder expectations, communications, and project governance. • Ensure stakeholder collaboration and responsiveness to change throughout the project life cycle. Competencies, Skills, and Qualifications Required • Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices. • Strong understanding of various Agile and Scrum elements, including Agile planning and Agile project management with Scrum. • Proven experience managing Agile projects in a fast-paced environment. • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams. • Ability to translate business requirements into clear, testable user stories • Validation and analysis of data for accuracy, security, and optimization. • Strong understanding of Agile testing practices and QA workflows. Essential Characteristics • Outstanding organizational skills, especially the ability to prioritize. • Demonstrate comfort working within a demanding environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands with a high level of adaptability and flexibility. • Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on a wide variety of factors. • High level of interpersonal skills to manage sensitive and confidential situations. • This position requires the ability to demonstrate poise, tact, and diplomacy. • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization. • Diligence in composing, typing, and proofreading materials. Education, Training & Experience • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related work experience combined with certifications. • Two to Four years of experience working as an Agile Development Project Manager. • Certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent. • Background in software development and project management. • High-level understanding and working knowledge of computer systems and the development lifecycle.
