The Role: As a Procurement Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating daily procurement functions to support field technician needs for equipment, parts, and supplies. The role will be responsible for organizing purchase request, sourcing material, and processing accurate purchase order to suppliers. As issues arise related to this process, you will be responsible for identifying corrective actions. The main objective of the job is control cost through purchasing and help technicians efficiently complete jobs by helping them get the materials needed. It will require knowledge on parts, services, inventory, and suppliers. What You'll Do Manage and prioritize incoming requests for materials, ensuring prompt responsiveness and timely fulfillment of orders.Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers to procure materials at the most competitive prices.Oversee the accuracy of orders, ensuring specifications align with requirements.Work collaboratively with various teams within the supply chain, including logistics, inventory management, and accounting, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment in material procurement.Continuously assess and refine procurement processes to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance cost-effectiveness across the supply chain. What you'll need: Ability to work Monday-Friday 11a-7p or 12p-8pAttention to Detail: Ability to meticulously review and ensure accuracy in procurement processes and orders.Multitasking Skills: Capacity to handle multiple procurement tasks simultaneously without compromising quality or timelines.Urgency and Proactivity: Demonstrate a high level of urgency in responding to requests and executing procurement activities promptly.Process Improvement Mindset: Willingness to continuously enhance procurement processes for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with teams across the supply chain to ensure cohesive and synchronized operations.
