Safety Manager Location: Burlington, KY, 41005 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team in Burlington, KY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive safety programs and initiatives to ensure a safe working environment across all operations, including plant safety and delivery/install site safety. This role requires a strong understanding of OSHA requirements, EPA regulations, and best management practices related to air and stormwater. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement safety programs and initiatives tailored to company operations. Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and manage all related reporting. Conduct new hire safety orientations and ongoing training sessions for employees. Develop and manage a near-miss reporting program to proactively identify and mitigate risks. Perform workers' compensation safety audits and recommend corrective actions. Oversee plant safety protocols and ensure adherence to safety standards. Manage safety procedures for delivery and installation sites to minimize hazards. Foster and develop a safety-focused culture throughout the organization. Prepare and submit EPA reports and implement best management practices for air quality and stormwater management. Qualifications Proven experience in safety management, preferably in underground utility systems. In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and reporting requirements. Experience with EPA reporting and environmental best management practices. Strong skills in designing and delivering safety training programs. Ability to conduct safety audits and implement corrective measures. Excellent communication and leadership skills to promote a safety-first culture. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
