Sanmina Corporation has facilities strategically located in key regions throughout the world.Assembler (Temporary)Job Purpose:Assemble Electronic Circuit Boards per specifications and ensuring quality is a priority in our Carrollton TX Facility.Nature of Duties:Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on circuit boards and other types of electronic assemblies, specifically a communication rack.May include intricate installation, hand soldering, wiring, harnessing and hardware assembly. The daily function may vary from sitting to standing, moving line to stationary; with very light to medium weight components.Reads and follows detailed, color-coded instructions.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent required0 - 1 years experience, training is providedMust be able to visually inspect small items for accuracyMust have manual dexterity to handle small partsEye-hand coordination is necessaryMust be able to read and understand diagrams, drawings and detailed instructionsProficient computer and data entry skills preferredHas willingness to learn, takes initiative, and offers improvement ideasAble to work effectively in a team environmentExcellent punctuality, good attendance, and reliability requiredAdherence to health and safety regulationsAble to work overtime and weekends as neededPrior Sanmina experience and systems knowledge is preferred.Physical DemandsRequired to sit and/or stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment; talk and hear in person; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
