Industrial Maintenance Technician The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for both mechanical and electrical repairs throughout the plant, ensuring equipment is maintained and installed in compliance with all plant policies and procedures. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install equipment while adhering to plant policies and procedures. Work with machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic & hydraulic components, conveyor systems, and production line equipment. Read diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications for installations. Utilize hand tools, power tools, precision-measuring devices, and testing instruments. Maintain company assets at the highest level of availability by executing the preventative maintenance schedule. Diagnose and troubleshoot root causes on equipment in a professional and timely manner. Collaborate with operators on process improvements and train them on routine preventative maintenance. Support engineering and continuous improvement projects, including trials and installations. Maintain good housekeeping in the maintenance department and after completing jobs. Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures. Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, including hydraulic components. Conduct basic PLC troubleshooting. Complete work orders that are tracked manually. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair. Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and repair. Ability to repair hydraulic components. Experience with preventive maintenance. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Experience with industrial electrical troubleshooting, including motors, 3-phase, and 400V systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics or electrical abilities with troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as Meger Meter, Multi-Meter, Amp Probe, and Infrared Thermometer. Experience with welding, HVAC systems, and maintenance repairs. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buford, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
