Job Title: IT ManagerJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to lead our IT department, ensuring efficient operations and alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure and systems, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Responsibilities Work with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to develop and implement IT strategies in alignment with the company's business goals. Provide leadership and direction to the IT department, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to ensure the organization remains competitive. Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring all systems, networks, and applications run smoothly. Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective technology solutions are implemented. Work with our MSP to respond to and resolve Cyber Security incidents. Lead and manage IT projects, from conception through to implementation and maintenance. Coordinate with other departments to ensure technology initiatives align with organizational needs. Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables. Work with our MSP to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the company's IT infrastructure. Manage software and hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance. Work with our MSP to support network administration, including the design and implementation of network solutions. Establish and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure quality service and support. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or industry-specific requirements. Develop, implement and document IT policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity. Work with our MSP to develop and document an Incident Response plan. Provide technical support and training to staff as needed. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 8+ years of directly related experience. Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, with a strong background in managing IT operations, systems, and staff. Proficiency in IT infrastructure and systems, including network management, data protection, and cybersecurity. Strong leadership and management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Ability to establish sound working relationships. High initiative with the ability to work independently. Proficiency in IT project management and network security. Experience in budget analysis. Additional Skills & Qualifications Relevant certifications such as PMP or CISSP. Experience with Office 365 and Azure. 8 years of experience managing IT help desk employees. Experience dealing with MSP providers. Ability to repurpose existing technologies or create new innovations to solve problems. Detail and deadline oriented; well organized. Work Environment The role requires travel up to 10% and involves working closely with both internal staff and external vendors. This position demands a high degree of initiative and independence, with a focus on problem-solving and effective communication across all levels of staff. The work environment is dynamic and requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Camarillo, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $175000.00/yr. Medical, Vision, Dental PTO 401k Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Camarillo,CA.
