Job Details Position: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel / Travel OT Location: Bedford, NH 03110 (Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility) Assignment Type: Travel assignment (13 weeks) Start Date: March 16, 2026 End Date: June 15, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (8-hour days) Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed 35 hours) Setting: Long Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing / Geriatric Rehab Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,350 - $1,460 per week (based on experience and qualifications) Occupational Therapist (OT) Requirements Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain NH licensure) Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist; experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric rehab preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills Ability to manage a caseload independently and work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Key Responsibilities Evaluate and assess residents to develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans focused on functional outcomes Provide evidence-based OT interventions to improve mobility, ADLs, adaptive equipment use, and safety Collaborate with nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, social work, and other healthcare professionals to optimize resident care Document evaluation results, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge recommendations in accordance with facility and regulatory policies Educate residents and families on therapeutic techniques, home programs, and adaptive strategies to promote independence Support restorative nursing and fall prevention programs within the LTC/SNF setting Preferred Qualifications Experience with dementia care, cognitive interventions, and adaptive equipment recommendations Familiarity with Medicare documentation, MDS coordination, and long-term care regulatory requirements What We Offer Competitive pay and travel benefits for travel occupational therapist roles Supportive team environment and orientation to the facility Opportunities to expand skills in geriatric and long-term care practice Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) in Bedford, NH.
