Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous SAS Analyst 2 to join our Securities Administration Services group. This is a critical role where your ability to translate complex legal contract terms into accurate financial formulas will directly impact the integrity of our loan and security portfolios. You will be the "source of truth" for transaction processing, credit risk duties, and compliance monitoring. Key Responsibilities Transaction Management: Execute complex financial transactions, perform detailed reconcilements, and manage loan/security payment processing. Compliance & Monitoring: Audit servicer reports for total accuracy and monitor pooled loans to ensure 100% adherence to legal agreements. Data Analysis & Tool Development: Build and manage sophisticated tracking tools (EUCTs) using Advanced Excel and Access, transforming legal jargon into functional mathematical formulas. Legal Research: Deep-dive into legal documentation to interpret specific terms regarding collateral and bond payments. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between investors and servicers to resolve remittances and data corrections. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related analytical field. Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in finance, accounting, or data analysis. Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. You must be comfortable with complex formulas and data modeling. Basic Microsoft Access skills are preferred. Analytical Mindset: Exceptional mathematical skills and the ability to interpret dense legal documents with high attention to detail. Preferred: Previous experience in Corporate Trust, Default, or Loan Servicing environments. Please apply or email with questions. salary: $22 - $23 per hour shift: Third work hours: 12 AM - 8 AM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Duties include: Providing remittance and correction information to servicers; Monitoring of pooled loans to determine non-compliance; Communication of information to investors and servicers; Evaluate servicer performance and review servicer reports to ensure accuracy of data represented and compliance with stated agreements, account balances, new advance balances, receivables balances, report upload times, number of fundings, etc.; Interacting with other departments as needed; Research and interpret all controlling legal documents as issues arise with collateral or bond payments; Creating EndUser Computing Tools (EUCTs such as Excel spreadsheets, code/instructions for Access databases, etc.) at deal inception by translating terms in legal contracts to formulas, as well as managing and developing the EUCTs throughout the life of the deal; Conduct internal processes by maintaining a working knowledge of their area of expertise and duties that include Collateral, Securities, Default or Trust Administration; Follow established procedures and use appropriate EUCTs for all processes; Identify and communicate enhancements or process improvements that are relevant across individual facilities; Participating in system enhancements by attending user group and individual testing.
