This in person internship is for undergraduate students graduating between 12/2026- 06/2027. The Robinson Managed Solutions division of C.H. Robinson is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer Intern to support the design, execution, and improvement of supply chain solutions for our customers. In this role, you will help analyze data, develop insights, and support projects that drive efficiency across sourcing, transportation, warehousing, and broader supply chain operations. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real customer challenges, mentorship from experienced engineers, and the opportunity to contribute to enterprise-level initiatives that influence C.H. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist in analyzing historic and forecasted data to create summaries, performance baselines, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities. • Support the development of supply chain solutions and recommendations using analytical and problem-solving skills. • Help document customer procedures, support solution implementation, and assist in resolving basic operational issues. • Support project activities, including assisting with scope clarification, updating project trackers, preparing progress summaries, and helping measure outcomes. • Participate in internal and customer meetings alongside senior engineers to gather information and understand requirements. • Prepare clear internal presentations or reports that summarize project insights and results. • Support continuous improvement efforts within the Engineering team, including process documentation or skill-building initiatives. • Collaborate with peers and team members; may contribute to small workstreams within a project. • Receive coaching and feedback to develop technical and professional skills. • Other responsibilities as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, or related field). • Expected graduation date between December 2026 - June 2027. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, charts, pivot tables; exposure to more advanced tools like macros or VBA is a plus). • Experience using data visualization or analytical tools through coursework or previous internships. • Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving ability. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Ability to recognize trends or patterns in data and communicate the "story" behind the numbers. • Strong organization and task-management skills; able to balance multiple assignments. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). • Understanding of basic supply chain concepts from coursework (forecasting, transportation, inventory, warehouse operations, etc.). • Exposure to Power BI or Tableau (preferred, not required). • Interest in lean processes and continuous improvement principles. • Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
