No Labor Category Light Industrial Date 09-Mar-2026 City Cincinnati State Ohio Country United States Ref # 9247851652 Description & RequirementsDescription Inspector Operator this could be a good fit if you are looking something in the bus line area! 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm Starting Pay: $16.00 must have availability to convert to 2nd shift once hired on JOB SUMMARY The Operator is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of machinery used in the manufacturing process. This role includes monitoring equipment, ensuring product quality, following established procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Review Blue Book with Lead Trainer and/or Prior Shift Inspector If job is in Andonix system, verify and review. Each inspector must review and answer questions each day on Tablet Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators per the Blue Book Instructions. Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards. We conduct an AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit). Review X # of parts as instructed and verify to the standards. If any fail, then notify Process Techs / Lead Trainer and sort or rework product as instructed. Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify Process Techs / Lead Trainer of any malfunctions. Take care to package products and notice many of the parts made at PPL are delicate and need to have care taken when handling. Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually. Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete. Verify that the scale used for the count is correct when the shift starts. Mark or tag identification on parts. Sign off router for operations as they are completed. Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances. Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment. Keep your work area clean and organized. We want to clean as we go and make sure our facility is always show ready. Record information such as the number of products tested, part number, lot number, and dates and times of product production. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.??????? Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and different shifts, as required.
