Quality Inspector 1st Shift

Job Full Description A Manufacturing Company in Aurora, IL is seeking a Bilingual Quality Inspector to join their team!! Evaluation to hire opportunity. Work Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS MUST KNOW HOW TO USE MEASURING TOOLS SUCH AS MICROMETERS, CALIPERS, AND GAUGES. Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish Two years' experience in the quality field/ manufacturing Experience with metal fabrication Ability to effectively read and interpret engineering drawings Accurate use of metrology instruments Perform tasks with limited or no supervision Maintains accuracy and attention to detail always and completes tasks in a timely manner Knowledge of dimensional, visual, and mechanical inspection processes Business Need / Purpose of Role: The target of position is the responsibility for instructing, monitoring, and maintaining the Quality Assurance procedures throughout the quality system. The quality control inspector is a member of the quality department and reports to the Quality Manager. Objectives & Measurement Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities: Works with instructions, blueprints, engineering drawings, BOM and other specifications. Performs first article, receiving, in-process, and final inspection and maintains all related documentation as per ISO/IATF Helps train new employees in proper assembly techniques and methods. Monitor operations to ensure that they meet quality standards Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers Operate electronic inspection equipment and software Perform data entry and information retrieval using Microsoft Office and other software.
