Pharmacy Floor Technician Location: Burr Ridge, IL Job Type: Full-time Pay Rate: $18-$20/hr Work Hours:Rotation: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off (Wednesday through Tuesday) Weekdays (Wed, Thu, Fri, Mon, Tue): 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM Weekends (Sat & Sun): 6:30 PM - 5:00 AM Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Floor Technician to join our overnight team. This role is responsible for the manual assembly, picking, and labeling of prescriptions to ensure accurate and timely delivery to patients. You will work under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist in a high-volume environment that requires precision and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Order Fulfillment: Pull/pick medications from shelving and prepack racks; fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently. Packaging & Labeling: Apply labels to blister cards and manually package products; scan all items for accuracy checks and alert the pharmacist of any scanning issues. Inventory Support: Assist in processing returned drugs for recycling or disposal; prepack frequently ordered medications during low-volume periods. Maintenance: Replenish stock supplies and maintain a clean, organized workstation. Compliance: Strictly follow all departmental policies, safety protocols, and government regulations, including HIPAA. Qualifications License: Must possess and maintain a Clear and Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License issued by the IL Board of Pharmacy. Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; ability to work at a moderate, steady speed. Requirements: Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as expected. Experience: Previous pharmacy technician experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
