Precision, Excellence, and Quality: Join Our Fabrication Team Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic perfection? Randstad is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for our client specializing in custom metal fabrication. In this role, you won't just be checking parts; you will be the final authority on quality, ensuring that every custom product leaving the facility meets the highest engineering and safety standards. salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3 PM education: High School Responsibilities Your Day-to-Day Impact Comprehensive Inspection: Conduct First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections on custom-fabricated metal components. Technical Validation: Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and protractors to verify that bent, welded, and machined parts match engineering blueprints. Blueprint Mastery: Interpret complex technical drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Defect Documentation: Identify non-conformities and work closely with the production team to implement Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions. Compliance Oversight: Ensure all products adhere to internal quality manuals and industry-specific standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
