Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description As a Lab Technician, you will perform required in-process and finished product testing per internal and customer specifications. You will prepare test specimens using injection molding equipment and evaluate, document, and communicate necessary adjustments to production material that do not meet specifications. Responsibilities Perform required in-process and finished product testing per internal and customer specifications. Prepare test specimens using injection molding equipment. Evaluate, document, and communicate necessary adjustments to production material that do not meet specifications. Thoroughly document and place on quality hold any material not meeting specifications for additional sampling, inspection, or testing as specified by the Laboratory Manager or Technical Manager. Perform calibration verification and periodic maintenance on laboratory testing equipment. Maintain housekeeping in the laboratory and injection molding areas. Essential Skills Knowledge in Chemistry, Laboratory procedures, and Quality Control. Technical skills in manufacturing environment, including moisture and density testing. Strong documentation and communication skills. High School Diploma or GED required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor of Science preferred. Basic laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Previous experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software. Good communication skills and ability to document findings accurately. Project management skills and leadership abilities are crucial. Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule. Work Environment This position operates in a manufacturing laboratory environment. The work schedule is third shift, Monday through Friday, from 9:45pm to 6am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brownsville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
