The clinician will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress to maximize functional recovery and independence.RequirementsCurrent, active California Physical Therapy licenseCPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED)Core ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough physical assessments and review medical history to determine patient needsCreate goal-driven, individualized treatment plans and revise them based on progressDeliver therapeutic interventions including exercise prescription, manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques), and function-focused trainingUtilize modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) appropriately to manage pain and promote healingInstruct and fit patients on assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs)Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, home exercise programs, ergonomics, and injury preventionDevelop and implement pain management strategies integrating therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniquesFacilitate post-operative and post-injury rehabilitation to restore independence and quality of lifeMaintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, treatments, progress notes, and plan modificationsCommunicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other care team membersAdhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in patient interactionsPerform other duties as assigned by Management
