Recruiter Franklin University is seeking a dynamic and innovative Recruiter with high initiative to play a key role in attracting and engaging talent that supports the University's mission and community. This individual will support the University's talent acquisition efforts through full-cycle recruiting for staff, student employees, and adjunct faculty positions while also assisting with university onboarding initiatives. The Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers across the University to understand position requirements, create and post job announcements, document job responsibilities, and identify well-qualified candidates through a variety of sourcing methods. Responsibilities include screening and interviewing candidates, coordinating background checks and pre-employment requirements, and ensuring a positive and efficient hiring process for both candidates and hiring managers. This role blends relationship management, administrative coordination, onboarding support, and compliance responsibilities. The Recruiter will build strong internal and external relationships to attract and retain top talent while serving as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by providing guidance on candidate evaluation, interview practices, and effective hiring approaches that support sound hiring decisions. The position will also support new hire onboarding activities and orientation initiatives and contribute to Human Resources projects and committees that support the broader talent lifecycle, from candidate engagement and hiring through onboarding and integration into the University community. The Recruiter will support hiring efforts across the University for staff, student employees, and adjunct faculty, partnering with hiring managers and academic leadership to coordinate recruiting activities and identify qualified candidates. This includes supporting the adjunct faculty hiring process by engaging practitioners who bring relevant industry expertise to the classroom and contribute to Franklin's workforce-relevant academic programs. Throughout the hiring process, the Recruiter will maintain a positive and professional candidate experience while ensuring recruiting activities are organized, efficient, and aligned with University practices. This position works as part of the Human Resources team and plays a key role in maintaining compliant and well-documented hiring practices across the University. The Recruiter will oversee key elements of the recruiting process including job postings, pre-qualification screening, interview coordination, background checks, and onboarding activities. This is a hybrid role that requires a regular presence on campus to support hiring managers, participate in onboarding and orientation activities, and engage with the Franklin University community. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and three or more years of progressive recruiting or talent acquisition experience supporting a variety of professional roles. Candidates should possess knowledge of Human Resources policies and employment practices and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office. Candidates must also possess a strong sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the University. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential. Experience supporting hiring managers through a consultative recruiting process is strongly valued.
