As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality chiropractic care to patients, focusing on improving their overall health and well-being through non-invasive treatments and holistic approaches. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive musculoskeletal care, focusing on patient education, prevention and treatment within a community-oriented setting. The Chiropractic Physician provides care consistent with chiropractic best practices and the policies and procedures of NATIVE HEALTH. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans Conduct chiropractic adjustments and manipulations to address musculoskeletal issues Educate patients on proper posture, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications for optimal spinal health Interpret X-rays and other diagnostic imaging to inform treatment decisions Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems Stay updated on the latest chiropractic techniques and research to provide evidence-based care Promote overall wellness and preventive care strategies to patients Participate as an active member of an integrated patient centered team KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to perform each essential function duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Must possess skills to empathize and care for a variety of patients, including low-income and diverse cultures and treat everyone (internal and external customers) with respect and dignity. Ability to always maintain confidentiality in all situations and follow the laws and intent of the most current HIPAA laws and regulations, and security and privacy policies. Above average ability to quickly analyze, comprehend, and create written/verbal medical and business communication and documentation. Must be physically and mentally able to practice chiropractic skillfully and safely. Knowledge of the cultural and social backgrounds of the Native American and under or uninsured population. Qualifications Must have a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited chiropractic college. Must have passed the National Board of Chiropractic Examiner (NBCE) and Physiotherapy (PHT) examinations for board certification. Must have a permanent and unrestricted license to practice chiropractic in Arizona. Ability to obtain Physical Medicine Modalities and Therapeutic Procedures Certificate. Ability to become credentialed with contracted health plans. Must not be excluded from participation in federal health care programs (as determined by OIG). Two (2) years of directly related clinical experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred. Multi-lingual (English/Spanish/Navajo) language skills are preferred. McKenzie Certification preferred. Current ACLS certification is preferred. Standard Employment Requirements: Must possess a valid and unrestricted Arizona driver's license (within 30 days of hire if applicant is from out-of-state) with no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions in the last five years. No more than two at-fault accidents in the last three years. Must maintain a valid Arizona driver's license during employment. Must be insurable under NATIVE HEALTH's liability auto policy. Must pass a criminal background check and obtain a Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card within the initial ninety (90) calendar days of employment and retain a valid card while employed with NATIVE HEALTH. Must pass substance abuse testing upon employment and submit to random testing during employment. Must provide an updated immunization (IZ) record at the time of employment. Must have a current (within 12 months) Tuberculosis (TB) skin report upon employment and provide an annual update. Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within (90) calendar days of employment and maintain certification during employment.
