What You'll Do As a Medical Biller, you'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless billing operations and financial accuracy. You'll be responsible for: Performing charge entry, confirming patient registration, and processing claims Managing patient aging reports and assisting with patient balance collections Handling patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy Following up on medical claims to ensure timely reimbursement Using Practice Management Systems in new and inventive ways What You Bring 3+ years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a high-growth or fast-paced environment Strong working knowledge of medical billing procedures, insurance guidelines, and claim submission processes Proficiency in ICD-10 coding systems and policies Experience with electronic/clearinghouse billing software and health plan websites Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities A self-starter mindsetable to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain a strong commitment to attendance Why You'll Love Working With Us At MedHQ, you'll be part of a dynamic, people-focused company that values both performance and professional growth.
