Distribution Center Supervisor

POSITION OVERVIEW We're looking for a driven and hands?on Distribution Center Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast?paced, high?mix warehouse environment. In this role, you'll oversee a team across rotating shifts, ensuring materials move accurately and on time from receiving through final shipment. You'll run daily shift huddles, support team performance, maintain inventory accuracy, and keep safety at the center of everything you do. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead warehouse operations across rotating multiple shifts, ensuring daily goals for receiving, put?away, picking, and shipping are met. Supervise and develop a team of hourly associates, providing coaching, feedback, and support. Coordinate and communicate shift plans, run daily huddles, and manage workflow throughout the day. Maintain accurate inventory through strong cycle count processes and attention to detail. Oversee cross?dock and time?sensitive material movement to meet internal service levels. Ensure all safety policies and operational procedures are followed and reinforced. Support and drive continuous improvement efforts using lean tools and problem?solving techniques. Collaborate with cross?functional teams in Materials, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, and other departments. Step in to perform hands?on tasks when needed to keep operations moving smoothly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Experience supervising teams in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment. Strong working knowledge of material handling processes including receiving, shipping, put?away, and cycle counting. Ability to operate or oversee powered industrial equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, etc.). Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems (any major system; JDE experience is a plus). Solid Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook. Strong communication skills and the ability to lead through influence and example. A continuous improvement mindset with experience using lean methodology or root?cause problem solving. Ability to work in a fast?moving, multi?shift environment and adapt to changing priorities. OSHA-10 Certification is a plus
