Propane Delivery/Propane Technician

Propane Delivery Specialist The primary function of this position is to ensure the safe loading, transport, and complete delivery of propane and all energy products to end users. Qualified candidate will also be expected to assist, at times, with the installation, maintenance, and repair(s) of propane systems in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards. Responsibilities: Maintain Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazardous endorsements Assist in marketing and selling energy products Ensure prompt service and delivery of propane products Be licensed and willing to help with delivery of bulk energy products Maintain inventories Fully trained in MN Propane Association Service and Repair Maintenance guidelines. Requirements: Basic Requirements: Knowledge of energy department products and services Must have or be willing to obtain a Class A CDL with tanker and hazardous endorsements Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position Adhere to the drug and alcohol testing policy Must attend all required safety and educational training Highly developed and demonstrated teamwork skills Ability to manage relationships both internally and externally Energetic, detail oriented, able to adhere to deadlines Great leadership, sales, communication, and organizational skills Must perform and record leak check data per Minnesota Propane Regulation and CRC requirement Maintain a specific propane delivery route using company software Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs. Occasional environment of adverse conditions Ability to climb ladders Ability to work in inclement weather Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons
