Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed medical histories, lifestyle evaluations, nutritional status, and environmental factors. Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions using a functional and integrative medicine approach. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating nutrition, supplements, lifestyle modifications, stress management, and conventional therapies as appropriate. Order, interpret, and explain advanced functional medicine labs and diagnostic tests. Provide patient education and coaching to support long-term health, disease prevention, and sustainable lifestyle changes. Candidate requirements Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program. Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Illinois. National NP certification (AANP or ANCC) required. Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner; experience in functional, integrative, or wellness-based medicine strongly preferred.
