CHECKER LOADER

Job Summary Under supervision, performs logistics tasks including material handling, inventory management, and shipment preparation using manual methods and basic equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors). This position is open for 2nd shift only - 3pm to 11pm. Key Responsibilities Operate sit-down forklift to primarily load but also unload shipments. Prepare and load orders for shipment to include placing on pallets. Maintain a clean and organized shipping area. Document damaged items. Complete required load tallies and properly scan units. Conduct routine quality checks on finished goods. Adhere to safety and organizational standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Minimum 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse setting. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Effective time management and organizational abilities. Reliable attendance and flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and overtime. Compensation And Benefits Starting salary for position: $27.13 per hour. Bonus: Annual Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics. Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year. Paid Holidays.
