Site Buyer Reporting to the Regional Procurement Manager, the Site Buyer is responsible for managing procurement activities to ensure the continuous supply of raw materials and indirect goods and services needed to maintain required production levels at an optimum cost, consistent with established quality and quantity specifications. The role also collaborates closely with the Regional Category Managers, who are responsible for developing procurement sourcing strategies for their respective categories. Job Responsibilities: Purchasing Leads and ensures proper execution of all RFPs and negotiations for the local goods and services under the buyer's responsibility. Potentially acts as the Regional Category leader for certain projects. Continuously engages with Regional and Global Category Managers to provide necessary information required for the development of the Category sourcing strategies. Implements the Category Sourcing Strategies at the site level. Tracks KPI and overall performance of suppliers at the site level. Ensures all procurement activities on the site are conducted according to the Armacell procurement policy to ensure maximum value for Armacell. Ensure all supplier contracts and Purchase Orders are properly executed and managed at the site level. Coordinates the removal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste from the facility by arranging with approved vendors to remove materials; maintain and update appropriate records to include MSDS documents and manifests. Ordering Evaluates inventory and places orders in close cooperation with the planning department, ensuring optimal delivery performance while minimizing inventory levels and maintaining adequate supply. Tracks delivery dates and clarifies differences in incoming invoices, both internally and with suppliers, both nationally and internationally. Supplier Performance and Evaluation Supports the continuous evaluation of key suppliers using approved KPI and performance measures. Ensures continuous improvements programs are in place with key suppliers and tracks progress. SAP and Master Data Management Maintains SAP master data by ensuring supplier master data and material master data (delivery date, payment terms, prices, etc.) are updated. Reporting and Forecasting Ensures all necessary reporting and forecasting tasks related to procurement activities are being delivered as planned. Ensures appropriate tracking, reporting and business alignment on value and savings creation. Supplier Risk Management Ensures the appropriate Risk management is done for key suppliers at the site in line with the Regional Procurement Manager guidelines. Safety Adheres to all safety Policies. Follows all company safety regulations and OSHA standards. Uses the appropriate protective gear and equipment. Reports any unsafe conditions right away. Is an active participant in workplace safety by helping create and maintain a safe work environment. Job Knowledge/Experience: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, or business is preferred. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in purchasing or procurement Strong interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communications and presentation skills. Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Possesses the ability to excel in cross functional teams in a global environment. Advanced computer skills (SAP and Microsoft Applications). Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. Knowledge of feedstocks and chemicals procurement a plus. The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
