Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Acute Care Job Details: Work 12-hour night shifts on T8 - Trauma, Ortho, Surgical unit Patient ratios of 1:4-5 in a 30-bed unit Must have minimum 2 years telemetry experience and Level 1 Trauma experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS Weekend requirement of 3 shifts in a 4-week period (4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks) Holiday shifts integrated into permanent staff rotation Must pass dysrhythmia examination prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed) Pass/fail SIMs Lab required on Day 1 of orientation covering Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes Must maintain sterile field during procedures Floor-specific orientation of 2 shifts Floating to Observation, VMU, T6, T5, 6N, 5N MedSurg, and all medical-surgical and telemetry units Work with Cerner EMR system and Phillips telemetry Care for patients including transplants post-op day 1, Whipple procedures, spine surgeries, orthopedic joint procedures, and trauma patients Must have own vehicle for travel Dress code requirements: navy scrubs, natural hair color, no facial piercings Men must be clean-shaven for fit testing Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment Facility: This healthcare facility is a Level 1 trauma center providing comprehensive acute care services with specialized focus on transplant procedures, complex surgical cases, and trauma care.
