Responsibilities: Oversee daily production planning, achievement of production targets, cost control, first-time yield, safety, quality, and staffing levels. Provide hands-on vehicle support for production associates, demonstrating manufacturing processes and new procedures on the line. Optimize production costs, resource usage, and ensure high quality and adherence to safety standards. Support facility and equipment maintenance, implementing preventative measures and corrective actions as needed. Assist in hiring, coaching, and developing both salaried and hourly production team members. Drive safety, environmental, and factory compliance initiatives throughout the organization. Implement process controls, product metrics, documentation standards, and support 5S initiatives for operational excellence. Deliver continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, cost, efficiency, and productivity. Benchmark best practices with other organizations and provide valuable feedback to management. Foster a positive work environment and help build a best-in-class manufacturing culture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Test, and Quality departments. Must-Have Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant experience in manufacturing operations. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced settings and collaborate across multiple functions and organizational levels. Hands-on mindset with direct involvement in production processes and equipment. Proficiency in ERP systems, spreadsheets, presentation software, JIRA, and Confluence. Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated approach to managing production operations. Excellent organizational and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead teams. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience covering for technician roles and providing direct support on the production floor. Familiarity with automotive manufacturing technology and electric vehicle production environments. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. Experience implementing 5S workplace organization and safety initiatives. Ability to benchmark and adapt best practices from other manufacturing organizations.
