Quality Auditor 2nd Shift

Quality Auditor US Farathane is seeking an experienced Quality Auditor on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for supporting the Quality System, including auditing in-process product per instructions, as well as all associated documentation and performing the duties of Receiving and Dock and Seatback areas auditing as needed. Essential Duties And Responsibilities A Quality Auditor is responsible for Receiving Inspection and Dock Auditing as required. Complete all necessary documentation including tags and labels per the TS 164949, within expected or given time periods. Perform First Piece Inspection and Last Piece Inspection of product to determine compliance to customer requirements. Maintain variable charts per blueprint and/or customer requirements Assist in sort operations as needed Immediately report all discrepancies to Quality Supervisor, Quality Engineer and/or Quality Manager Informally monitor quality system to cell/areas concerning labels, documentation, lot numbers, first piece samples for procedural adherence. Performs all other duties as requested by the Quality Supervisor, Quality Engineer and/or Quality Manager. Communicate production and quality issues/concerns with associates and supervision whenever necessary, including shift crossover. Participate in team problem solving activities (i.e.:8D's, communication meetings, etc.). Responsible for following internal and OSHA required safety procedures. Adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e.: Quality Manual, Associate Handbook, etc.). Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas. Knowledge of critical areas/features on product and ability to use quality tools to validate production requirements (i.e. Calipers, gages, check fixtures, X-Rite, Moisture checking, McBeth light and Dial indicators, etc.) as required Vacuum and wipe down exposed areas of machines and equipment during production hours and thoroughly clean same during nonproduction time.
