Job Details / Job Highlights Location: Grenada, Mississippi (38901) - Mississippi travel nurse opportunity near Grenada Lake Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) / Emergency Department (ED) RN Assignment Type: Travel / Contract (13 weeks) Setting: Acute Care, Emergency Room / Critical Care Start Date: March 30, 2026 End Date: June 29, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights (rotating 36/48 hours per two weeks) Charting System: EPIC proficiency required Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1770 Qualifications / Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice requirements apply) Minimum 1 year recent Emergency Department (ED) / ER RN experience required; 2 years preferred Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC EPIC charting experience/proficiency required (EPIC EMR) Ability to complete in-person fingerprinting in Grenada or Jackson, MS prior to start Must be able to provide care for adults and occasional pediatric patients (emergency and critical care skills) COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccination required (medical exemptions for flu require documentation) Core Responsibilities Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in the ED for adult and pediatric patients Respond to acute and critical situations, perform triage, and initiate life-saving interventions Collaborate with emergency physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary care team Accurately document all patient care, assessments, and treatments in EPIC Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and emergency department procedures Maintain compliance with required vaccinations, credentialing, and facility onboarding Note: Housing in Grenada is limited.
